Update 6/30: School is out and finally we get free time to pracitce. By the end of the summer we plan to have our demo out on cd and ready to give to anyone that wants it. Frank tore ligaments in his ankle so we are held back a couple weeks on recording. Also Ted Moved to Mass. and will no longer be in the band. We will keep you updated.

Truancy is currently a three piece band out of the suburbs of New Jersey. From the very begining, drummer and founder Frank Mallon had no intentions of the band  becoming serious but simply making a jam band on the side of his main project, Omicron. After a few jams with currently departed guitarist Ted Bland, the then two piece decided to call up their friend Gian Patetta as a second guitarist. The band practiced a few more times with their new member before Omicron bassit, Matt Boffa, decided to come to a Truancy practice. The rest is history. Since then guitarist Ted Bland has moved to Massachusetts and the band has set to work on their soon to be released demo.
